SMT Taramai Vartak Memorial Academy, affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (Affiliation No. 1130178), was established in April 2008. It is run by the Agashi-Virar-Arnala Education Society, Virar, Palghar.
The school had started functioning from Class I to Class VI in the year 2008 and had the first batch of class X students who appeared for the Central Board of Secondary Education All India Secondary Examination, March 2013 scoring 100% result.
The school, besides imparting quality activity-based education to the children provides a complete environment for all-round development of personality. For this, the school provides experts’ coaching in Karate, Skating, Dance, Music, Drawing, Gymnastics, Yoga, Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Carrom, Football, Cricket, Basket Ball, various musical instrument and various other outdoor sport-activities. The students are also given an equal opportunity to develop their life-skills to make them to face the challenges of life with greater confidence and determination.
