Aims and Ideals

The SMT Taramai Vartak Memorial Academy is an English medium co-educational school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education and run by the A. V. A. Education Society. The aim of the school is to promote a cosmopolitan atmosphere, to train children of all denominations providing for them a liberal education, founding its edifice on Indian culture.

Instruction imparted in this institution helps the development of the brain and the heart of the child as also his aesthetic appreciation. The school wishes to develop each pupil to the limit of his capacity so that he may make the most of himself and contribute the greatest good to society. Citizenship, character, service and loyalty, knowledge skills, attitudes and appreciation are the school's goals and expect the parents too, to fully co-operate and involve themselves in the matter of coaching and helping them.

Curriculum

The school runs classes from the class 1 onwards and the pupils at the end of their school career, qualify for C.B.S.E. Examination. The medium of instruction throughout the school is English. Options are offered in the languages and other academic groups to suit the child's individuality and capacity.
